EHS Manager – New Manufacturing Facility

Job summary

Eaton's North Little Rock facility seeks an Environmental Health and Safety Manager to guide construction, ramp-up and go-live operations with strong EHS leadership. You will shape the safety culture, ensure compliance with regulations, and drive data-driven improvements across the site.

You will collaborate with site leadership, manage EHS programs, and oversee risk assessments and performance metrics as the facility scales. Travel up to 50% during early phases is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Five (5) or more years of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) experience within a manufacturing environment.
• One (1) or more years of experience managing direct reports.
• Ability to travel up to 50% for the first 18-24 months in role (mainly to Eaton Fibrebond in Minden, LA).

Responsibilities

• Develop site EHS strategy and set goals for the site manager and appropriate activity-based goals for the leadership team, functional managers.
• Facilitate risk assessments at the location to identify critical EHS hazards and aspects; work with leadership to set targets based on EHS risks.
• Track performance of Leading and Lagging Indicators for EHS and sustainability against targets.
• Lead and engage MESH element champions and cross-functional teams.
• Promote a zero-incident EHS culture through data-driven analysis and site-specific programs.
• Oversee EHS data processes (Benchmark, MESH Prism) for injuries, environmental metrics and action items.
• Validate training matrices to ensure training is defined and tracked to completion.
• Collaborate with site leadership and facilities to ensure key EHS controls are in place and timely.
• Review EHS impacts of new equipment and processes via Management of Change.
• Lead security team to ensure safety of employees and visitors.
