Job summary

Futaba North America is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager to lead the EHS function at its Bloomingdale, IL HQ. You will plan, develop, and manage safety and environmental programs across sites, ensuring compliance and driving risk reduction.

The role requires 5+ years in EHS management, with ISO 14001 and OSHA knowledge, and CS P/SMP preferences. Expect travel and a comprehensive benefits package in a full-time role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive EHS management experience in a multi-site manufacturing setting.
• Experience with welding and stamping processes preferred; exposure as a Toyota supplier.
• Solid knowledge of OSHA, WHMIS, TDG, ISO 14001; CSP/SMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage integrated HSE systems aligned with goals and regs.
• Lead policies, procedures, training, and audits for health, safety and environment.
• Collaborate with EHS teams across sites to drive common strategic objectives.
• Audit EHS processes and assess internal controls; report findings and improvements.
• Interface with regulatory bodies and Japan office to align with best practices.
• Lead emergency preparedness and contractor safety programs; drive continuous improvement.
