Job summary

InterMetro Industries is seeking an EHS Manager to join our Wilkes-Barre operations team. This role covers all EHS duties for multiple facilities, driving compliance programs and continuous improvement in safety and environmental practices.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing, with strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and program development. On-site role based in Wilkes-Barre, PA with relocation and sponsorship not provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant safety/health field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct EHS experience in manufacturing.
• Experience coordinating audits and regulatory reporting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of environmental, health, and safety duties for all Wilkes-Barre facilities.
• Drive ongoing EHS compliance efforts and improvement plans.
• Lead hazard elimination through project planning and contractor training.
• Create and update site EHS programs and conduct trainings.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulatory agencies.
• Oversee internal and external EHS audits and inspections.
• Investigate accidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate respiratory protection, hearing conservation, and pandemic plans.
