Job summary

Brightleaf Group in Anderson, SC is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety Manager to lead the EHS program at a high-volume plastics manufacturing site with relocation provided. You will develop and implement safety policies, drive ISO certifications, oversee audits and regulatory compliance, and mentor the EHS/Facilities Coordinator and contractors to achieve zero harm and world-class safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4+ years EHS experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state regulations.
• ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 experience preferred.
• Certifications CSP/CIH/CHMM desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the site EHS strategy, policies and performance to achieve world-class safety standards.
• Lead risk assessments and audits across injection molding, extrusion, robotics and related processes.
• Coordinate regulatory permits, air/wastewater management, and sustainability initiatives.
• Chair the Safety Committee and manage incident investigations with root-cause analysis.
• Develop and deliver EHS training and maintain OSHA 300 logs and metrics.
