Job summary

Human Capital Ventures in Anderson, South Carolina, seeks an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety Manager to lead the site EHS programs, ensure OSHA/EPA compliance, and drive a proactive safety culture across Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality.

You will develop policies, conduct audits and risk assessments, lead incident investigations, deliver training, manage permits and records, and report EHS metrics to leadership while advancing ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 alignment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements and environmental, health and safety regulations.
• Experience developing and managing comprehensive EHS programs and management systems.
• Experience leading investigations into accidents, incidents, and near-misses with root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead Environmental, Health and Safety programs, policies, and initiatives for the facility.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and federal/state/local regulations.
• Manage and improve the site’s EHS management systems (ISO 14001/45001).
• Develop and deliver EHS policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and hazard analyses.
• Lead investigations into incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate EHS training for employees, supervisors, and contractors.
• Oversee environmental compliance programs and record-keeping.
