Job summary

Justrite Safety Group is hiring an experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager for our Broomfield, CO operation and an extended role in Sarnia, Canada. You will develop, implement, and maintain safety and environmental policies to ensure a safe, compliant workplace and drive continuous safety improvements across the QEHS program.

The role requires leading incident prevention, regulatory compliance, training, and coordination with HR to reduce workers’ compensation costs.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of regional and local EHS compliance and regulatory requirements related to manufacturing and facility operations.
• Travel required, up to 10%.
• Some knowledge of Quality aspects in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer occupational health, safety, ergonomics, and industrial hygiene programs.
• Maintain site environmental permits and reporting requirements.
• Identify hazards and implement preventive actions to control hazards.
• Coach employees on safe behavior and problem solving on the factory floor.
• Own and administer the Workers’ Compensation program and OSHA logs.
• Lead the QEHS team and safety committees to improve safety performance.
