Job summary

DSJ Global is assisting a growing specialty chemicals manufacturer in San Luis Obispo, CA to hire an experienced EHS Manager who will lead environmental, health, and safety programs across the facility.

The role demands regulatory compliance expertise, process safety leadership, and capabilities to drive training, audits, CAPA, and continuous improvement in partnership with site leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in chemical manufacturing.
• Deep knowledge of OSHA, DOT and environmental regs.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS compliance programs and regulatory submissions.
• Develop and maintain EHS policies, procedures, programs and training.
• Coordinate audits, CAPA, and incident investigations.
• Oversee CalARP, air permitting, SPCC, SWPPP, and other programs.
• Partner with operations and leadership to advance EHS objectives.
