Job summary

Shirley Parsons is assisting a leading food and beverage manufacturing organization in the New York area by finding a Regional EHS Manager to oversee five locations with a 50% travel commitment. This role requires hands-on leadership across multiple 24/7 sites within driving distance and no relocation is provided.

You will conduct audits, lead trainings, manage hazards and support investigations, while fostering a strong safety culture in a union environment and reporting to the EHS Director.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in EHS/HSE/Health and Safety within manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; in lieu, additional certifications accepted.
• Must be located in the New York City/Long Island/Westchester County area.
• Personal vehicle required; travel costs will be reimbursed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular audits, trainings, identify potential hazards, and help improve/maintain existing programs.
• Lead training programs, actively co-manage worker's compensation claims, and support all accident/near-miss investigations.
• Champion the safety culture onsite - this is a union environment.
• Build strong relationships with operational staff and leadership, reporting directly to the EHS Director.

A leading, stable food/beverage manufacturing organization is looking for a Regional EHS Manager to join their team in the New York area managing a total of 5 locations. This person will have a presence across multiple 24/7 manufacturing locations that are within driving distance. No relocation assistance will be provided.

There is plenty of long-term stability and upward mobility available for the right long-term candidate. 50% travel requirement (costs covered by employer). Profit-sharing, bonus, and full benefit coverage included.

TRAVEL:
