Job summary

CFS in Brownsville, TX is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to lead all site EHS operations, with paid relocation offered. The role offers a salary of $85,000-$90,000 plus bonus and comprehensive benefits.

You will partner with senior leadership, mentor a team, and implement a proactive safety culture while navigating OSHA, EPA, USCG regulations and risk management to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of EHS experience in industrial, construction, manufacturing, or related environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and working knowledge of EPA compliance programs.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead site safety, environmental compliance, and risk management programs.
• Manage regulatory compliance activities involving OSHA, EPA, USCG, and other applicable agencies.
• Conduct incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action management.
• Oversee environmental programs including SPCC, SWPPP, air permits, Tier II reporting, and waste management.
• Supervise Safety Coordinators/Technicians and drive employee engagement through training and coaching.
• Partner with operations leadership to conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and emergency response planning.
