Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son seeks an EHS Manager to lead and integrate EHS processes, SOPs, and training to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations. This hands-on role supports operations and fosters a safer, healthier work environment across facilities.

The role focuses on regulatory compliance, program management, risk assessment, incident management, and ongoing safety culture improvements, with extensive time in plant operations and collaboration with leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field.
• ASP or CSP certification is a plus but not required.
• 5+ years of experience in EHS management, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Experience in food manufacturing and basic plant operations knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other agencies.
• Drive EHS program implementation and continuous improvement.
• Perform risk assessments and conduct EHS audits/inspections.
• Lead incident reporting, investigation and corrective actions.
• Provide EHS training and promote safety culture across operations.
• Maintain EHS records and prepare regulatory reports.
