Job summary

The Carlisle Group (TCG) is seeking an EHS Manager for a bakery/food manufacturing site. You will lead safety programs, embed safety into daily operations, and influence leadership across the plant to shift from reactive to proactive safety.

The role requires 5–10+ years in EHS within food/bev manufacturing, plant-level leadership, OSHA/Cal/OSHA expertise, and a hands-on leadership style with floor presence. Spanish preferred; located in California.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5–10+ years of EHS in food or beverage manufacturing.
• 5+ years in plant-level leadership.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and Cal/OSHA.
• Hands-on leader who can be strategic on the floor.
• Spanish fluency preferred.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience leading EHS at the plant level (5+ years in a leadership role)
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance programs
• Experience with Cal/OSHA
• A hands-on leader who can be both strategic and visible on the floor
• Strong communicator who can influence at all levels—from operators to senior leadership
• Fluent in Spanish (highly preferred)

Salary range: $110,000 - $140,000, bonus opportunity, health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, life insurance, paid time off and company holidays provided. *This compensation range reflects the company's expectations for this position at the time of posting. Actual pay will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, alignment with role responsibilities, education, demonstrated skills, and performance during the interview process.
