Job summary

Pogue Construction is seeking an experienced EHS Professional to lead safety, health, and environmental programs on active construction projects in Texas. You will develop and enforce policies, perform audits, and mentor project teams to ensure zero incidents.

The role requires ten years of safety experience in commercial building construction and a Bachelor's degree in Safety and Health or equivalent. OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR/AED certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of EHS principles and techniques.
• Ability to identify known potential exposures and drive corrective actions.
• Proficient with MS Office suite.
• Proven leadership and interpersonal skills for project teams.
• Strong internal and external customer service capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project safety, health, and environmental policies.
• Observe and stop work for immediate safety hazards.
• Collaborate with Safety Director on corrective actions.
• Provide leadership on active projects and mentor staff.
• Serve as site EHS Professional for all active projects.
• Coordinate with Subcontractor Safety Reps for compliance.
• Conduct EHS audits and enforce corrective actions.
• Investigate and resolve field EHS issues with staff.
