Arconic is seeking an EHS Manager for the Kawneer Springdale location in Arkansas. You will lead environmental health and safety programs, manage regulatory reporting, and oversee training to reduce risk and drive compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Safety or Environmental Engineering and at least five years in EHS within manufacturing; CSP or CIH is preferred. This is a full-time on-site position with opportunities for growth and leadership.

Job Description

Arconic is currently in search of EHS Manager to join our Building and Construction Systems Team in Springdale, Arkansas.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Incumbent will supervise and direct daily EHS functions for the Kawneer Springdale location. Reports to the Plant Manager

and is responsible and accountable for:

• Ensuring the Environmental, Health, and Safety activities reduce risk, eliminate incidents, and are performed within external regulatory requirements and internal management guidelines.
• Development, implement, and document EHS programs in accordance with Local, State, and Federal EPA and OSHA requirements; and in compliance of Arconic and Kawneer policies and management systems.
• Prepare, submit, and document all EPA and OSHA Reporting Requirements, up to but not limited to OSHA 300 Log, SARA 311, 312, and 313 Annual Reports, MS Hazardous Waste Generators Annual Report, and MS Air Emissions Annual Inventory Report.
• Accurate submission and completion of all Springdale incident reporting to Kawneer and Arconic within designated deadlines and reporting process guidelines.
• Prepare and submit all Kawneer and Arconic required monthly and quarterly performance index reports and metrics.
• Develop, conduct/oversee and supervise EHS Training, including external regulatory and internal management programs.
• Approval and procurement of EHS for Waste Characterization and Disposal, PPE, I/H, Noise Testing, Training Resources
• and any other Environmental, Health, and Safety vendors as required.
• Acquire and maintain accredited training needed in areas related to EHS for training, report submittal, and general awareness.
• Liaison for Kawneer, regulatory agencies, and outside vendors in the area of Environment, Health, and Safety.
• Set an impeccable example.
• Ensure environmental permit conditions are understood, implemented, and enforced.
• Ensure supervisors and department employees attend all required training.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Safety or Environmental Engineering or relevant Bachelor's degree.
• Five years professional experience in Environmental Health and Safety in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred: CSP or CIH.
