Job summary

CertainTeed in Seattle is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead the plant's H&S programs, ensure compliance with corporate and state requirements, and develop ISO systems. You will foster an autonomous H&S culture, implement SOPs, provide training, and drive risk reduction initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & safety, Industrial Relations, or a relevant field.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as a Health & Safety Manager.
  • Strong safety leadership and commitment to regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in a U.S. union manufacturing environment, strongly preferred.

Job Overview

We are seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager at our Seattle manufacturing site. The EHS Manager will provide leadership to the Health & Safety programs at the plant, ensuring compliance with corporate and provincial legislation, developing and maintaining ISO systems, fostering an autonomous H&S culture, promoting health and wellness programs, defining H&S standard operating procedures, providing training, and developing risk identification and reduction awareness and methods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership to the Health & Safety programs at the plant.
