Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr

Title: EHS Manager

Location: Buffalo, NY

Salary: $130,000-$160,000/year

Founded in the 1970s we are a mid-sized hydraulics manufacturer. Our headcount has increased over 8% the past 2 years as we continue to expand our product line and gain market share in our space.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on EHS best practices and compliance requirements.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing reports and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
• Collaborate with management to foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across the organization.
• Stay updated on EHS regulations and best practices, and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in EHS management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience in developing and implementing EHS training programs.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Certification in Industrial Hygiene or related fields is a plus.
