Job summary

Printpack is seeking an experienced EHS Coordinator/Manager to be the site’s primary Environmental, Health, and Safety resource at our Williamsburg facility. Lead safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, manage risk, develop and deliver training, investigate incidents, and coordinate emergencies, while partnering with HR, Operations, and regulators.

You will drive continuous improvement, maintain VPP status, and oversee contractor safety and injury case management for a 100-150 person

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Manufacturing or operations environment experience preferred.
• OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulatory knowledge required.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a proactive safety culture across facility operations.
• Interpret and implement federal, state, and local EHS laws; maintain environmental permits.
• Conduct risk assessments, inspections, and audits; implement preventive measures.
• Design, deliver, and evaluate EHS training programs for all personnel.
• Conduct root cause analyses of incidents and establish prevention methods.
• Maintain emergency response protocols and incident documentation.
• Develop relationships with regulatory agencies and internal cross-functional teams.
• Maintain and advance Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) status.
• Develop tools to measure and report EHS initiative effectiveness.
• Oversee contractor safety requirements and permit processes.
• Support injury case management and return-to-work activities.
• Report and communicate EHS performance metrics across the organization.
