Specialty Granules LLC in California seeks a seasoned EH&S leader to administer loss control programs, oversee MSHA compliance, and audit industrial hygiene activities at the Ione plant. You will champion a safety-first culture and shape the site EH&S strategy to reach zero injuries and 100% regulatory compliance.

The role requires a strong background in mining safety/industrial hygiene, leadership, and broad regulatory knowledge to drive performance and ensure permits and records are current.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Industrial Technology, or Engineering (Mining Eng).
• 5+ years safety/industrial hygiene in a mining environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loss control programs, MSHA compliance, and industrial hygiene auditing at the Ione plant.
• Serve as safety champion to drive a safety-first culture at the site.
• Develop and drive the EH&S strategy to achieve zero injuries and full regulatory compliance.
