Job summary

LIGHTERA in Norcross, GA is seeking an EHS Manager to join the site’s senior management team and act as a strategic partner for health and safety, environmental stewardship, and operations reliability.

The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership, deep technical expertise, and a passion for safety, with responsibility for leading permitting, audits, incident investigations, and continuous improvement of EHS programs across the site.

Qualifications

BS/BA in a related discipline required.
Minimum of 7+ years of experience and leadership in progressive EHS roles.
Extensive knowledge of applicable industrial regulations and standards.
Strong leadership and cross-functional teamwork experience.
Experience working in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and mentorship to the site EHS team and foster a proactive safety culture.
Partner with site leadership to develop and improve EHS strategies aligned with regulatory obligations.
Champion employee engagement around EHS policies and initiatives.
Lead permitting, reporting, audits, and regulatory inspections.
Lead Workers’ Compensation claim management.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance to integrate process safety into daily decisions.
Lead investigations of incidents and near misses with root cause analysis.
Continuously evaluate and improve safety programs and processes.
