Timberlab in Drain, Oregon is seeking an experienced EHS leader to drive environmental, health, and safety programs across manufacturing and fabrications. You will lead regulatory compliance, audits, training, and incident investigations to foster a strong safety culture.

You will develop and implement policies and procedures, manage permits and reporting, and partner with engineering/production to minimize risk and ensure continual improvement in safety and environmental practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field with emphasis on EHS.
• 5+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience in manufacturing or wood products.
• Experience with wood dust, adhesives, coatings, or related chemical processes is a plus.
• CSP/BCSE/CIH preferred; OSHA 30/10, LEAN/6S, ISO 45001 beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations and permitting.

Responsabilités

• Lead development and continuous improvement of EHS programs to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs aligned with applicable regulations.
• Manage environmental permits, reporting, waste management, and hazardous materials handling.
• Lead site audits, inspections, corrective action plans, and track closure.
• Establish and monitor site-wide safety management system with annual EHS goals.
• Lead risk assessments for new processes, equipment, and product formulations.
• Oversee incident investigations with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Conduct safety trainings and maintain training records.
• Coordinate safety and environmental considerations in timber processing and finishing.
• Develop emergency response plans and coordinate drills with local authorities.
• Prepare regular EHS performance reports to leadership; manage risk registers.
