Job summary

Arc is seeking a proactive environmental health and safety leader to manage programs across our manufacturing facilities. You will collaborate with operations and engineering to implement best-in-class safety initiatives, drive continuous improvement, and ensure regulatory compliance across OSHA, CalOSHA, EPA, CUPA, and other standards.

With a strong track record in industrial safety and a passion for boating and clean energy, you will help shape Arc's safety culture and scale our operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health, Safety Management, Occupational Safety or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of managing and implementing EHS programs in engineering or manufacturing settings.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA, CalOSHA, EPA, CUPA, SCAQMD, NIOSH.
• Working knowledge of ANSI standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain Environmental, Health, and Safety programs across the organization, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with operations leadership, engineers, and staff to drive safety initiatives and continuous improvement.
• Maintain and improve safety programs: high-voltage, crane safety, chemical management, incident management, ergonomics, hygiene, air quality.
• Manage safety ticketing system and metrics.
• Lead investigations of accidents/incidents, identify root causes, implement corrective actions; manage injuries.
• Identify proactive safety opportunities in manufacturing and document inspections.
• Own hazardous and non-hazardous waste management including handling, labeling, storage.
