Job summary

Mobile Air & Power Rentals (MAPR) seeks an experienced Manager of Environmental, Health & Safety to lead company-wide safety efforts and foster a proactive safety culture. This leadership role reports to the VP of Operations and manages a regional EHS team, providing hands-on support for branches and projects.

You will drive safety programs, audits, incident investigations, and training, while partnering with operations to reduce risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote consistent safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a safety or related field and 5+ years EHS experience.
• Proven leadership of geographically dispersed teams.
• Knowledge of federal, state, local EHS regulations.
• Experience with safety audits, investigations, and corrective actions.
• OSHA 30-hour training and current First Aid/CPR/BBP/AED certifications.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of regional EHS Coordinators/Safety Specialists.
• Establish expectations, priorities, and performance standards for the EHS team.
• Partner with VP of Operations to align EHS initiatives with company goals.
• Monitor safety performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Track regional safety activities, audits, and corrective actions.
• Support DOT and fleet safety compliance; review telematics/Geotab data with operations.
• Evaluate EHS-related contractors and vendors for risk management.
