Job summary

ERM is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead environmental, health, and safety leadership and technical support at a client facility in Lincoln, NE. This is a full-time (40 hours/week) limited-term role for 6 months, with potential extension.

The position requires broad expertise across EHS disciplines, regulatory compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement, with on-site presence and strong leadership skills.

Qualifications

• BS in Safety, Occupational Health, Engineering or related science.
• 10+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing or R&D preferred.
• CSP certification preferred.
• Experience with health and safety risk assessments and IH monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Ensure OSHA, environmental and company compliance at the site.
• Manage EHS policies, permits, licenses, and required documentation.
• Lead EHS program management and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide daily EHS support to production and operations teams.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, and safety inspections.
• Investigate incidents and drive corrective actions.
• Deliver EHS training and contractor safety programs.
• Lead audits, monitor metrics, and report to site leadership.
