Job summary

SAVI EHS is hiring an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to oversee electrical substation work in Richmond, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of construction EHS experience, preferably in high-voltage environments. Responsibilities include daily EHS leadership, ensuring OSHA compliance, leading job safety analyses, and maintaining a proactive safety culture. Required certifications include OSHA 30-Hour Construction. A strong understanding of electrical safety practices is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction EHS experience dealing with electrical.
• Direct experience working in high-voltage electrical substations strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of hazard recognition and control methods for electrical work.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily on-site EHS leadership for construction and electrical activities.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Subpart V.
• Lead daily Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) and Pre-Task Planning (PTP) meetings.
