Job summary

Springs Window Fashions is seeking a motivated Environmental Health and Safety Intern to join our EHS Team for Summer 2027 in Middleton, Wisconsin. This paid internship offers real project work and exposure to cross-functional teams within North America’s premier window coverings company.

You will assist with EHS Standardization, JHA/JSA, hazard analyses, SafeStart programs, SBOS data initiatives, and sustainability tracking.

Qualifications

The EHS Internship provides an exciting opportunity to assist the team with project support while gaining valuable work experience in your field of study.
The paid internship program is known for in-depth, challenging project work with cross-functional teams, plus professional development, job shadowing and growth opportunities.
Projects include EHS Standardization, SafeStart, SBOS enhancements, sustainability tracking and training initiatives.

Responsibilities

EHS Standardization to include: SOPs, JHA/JSA and Kaizen events; completes SOPs and hazard analysis for plant functions.
SafeStart implementation and ErgoFactor ergonomic assessments; onsite hands-on experience for EHS maturity and gap analysis.
EHS Core Principles enhancements for SBOS with data-driven focus; sustainability tracking across business units.
Training development: turnkey programs for Office Associates and Sales Team, covering driving, office safety and basic safety.
GHG tracking and enterprise-wide approaches to standardized tracking; collaboration with vendors and SWF units.
