Job summary

Foremost Farms USA is offering an Environmental Health & Safety Intern internship for Summer 2027 in Wisconsin. The role is listed as Intern with a $20.00 per hour wage, primarily day shifts, Monday to Friday, with on-site or hybrid work options.

Interns will support machine guarding inventories, LOTO labeling, JSA/HSA updates, and sustainability KPI projects across Foremost plants. Strong communication, organization, and travel up to 75% are required, and candidates should be near the Middleton

Qualifications

Undergraduate student enrolled in a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Willingness to travel to Foremost plant locations, up to 75% per week.
Must be available to work from early June 2027 through early to mid-August 2027.
Based near our Middleton, WI headquarters.
Junior or Senior class standing.
Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career related to the internship.

Responsibilities

Conducting machine guarding inventories and labeling.
Completing LOTO inventories and labeling.
Updating Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and Hazard Safety Analyses (HSAs).
Identifying sustainability opportunities related to environmental KPIs, including energy, water, and wastewater.
Mapping wastewater discharge throughout our plants.
