Job summary

Trane Technologies offers a 12-week summer internship for students pursuing a BS/BA in Occupational Safety and Health, Safety Science and Environmental Engineering, Safety Management, Chemical/Mechanical Engineering, or Occupational Risk and Safety Science. Interns receive leadership training, engage with senior leaders, and undertake assignments across safety, lean, and sustainability areas.

On-site, 5 days a week, the program exposes interns to manufacturing processes and leadership layers

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS/BA in Occupational Safety and Health, etc. with GPA ≥ 3.0 and Junior/Senior status.
• Willing to travel to various Trane Technologies locations across North America.
• Excellent computer skills in Excel, MS Office, Outlook-Teams, One Note and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Safety Management Systems, Standard Work, Policies and Procedures, Lean Principles, Risk Assessment, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomic Assessment, Environmental Compliance, Sustainability, and Training.
• Interact with leadership across organization and gain exposure to various manufacturing processes.
