Job summary

Siemens is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Intern for a 12-week summer program based in Wendell, NC. You’ll work on-site full-time supporting EHS initiatives, incident response, inspections, and record keeping within the Electrification and Automation division of Siemens Smart Infrastructure.

Qualified candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in EHS or related fields, must be within 50 miles of Wendell, and be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related field and nearing completion.
• Ability to work on-site full-time (40 hours per week) for the 12-week internship.
• Located within 50 miles of Wendell, NC; no relocation.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Enrollment must continue during the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with EHS initiatives across the facility.
• Support regulatory compliance activities and biodiversity programs.
• Attend daily operations tier meetings and respond to incidents.
• Assist with EHS inspections and corrective actions.
• Support training record management and incident tracking.
