Job summary

RENK America is seeking an EHS Intern to support regulatory compliance and safety initiatives within our Muskegon, MI manufacturing environment. You will gain hands-on experience assisting the EHS team with policy updates, audits, and incident investigations.

Qualified candidates are enrolled in a bachelor’s program in Environmental Health & Safety or a related field, with strong communication and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in EHS or related field.
• Strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with MS Office applications.
• Junior or Senior level student.

Responsibilities

• Support EHS team to ensure a safe working environment in compliance with regulations.
• Review and update EHS policies, procedures, forms.
• Help develop safety procedures, checklists, forms, and training materials.
• Assist with plant safety programs, root cause investigations, hazard identification, and safety audits.
• Assist with environmental waste tracking and reporting.
