Responsibilities

• Support EHS team to ensure a safe working environment in compliance with regulations.

• Assist with plant safety programs, root cause investigations, hazard identification, and safety audits.
• Assist with environmental waste tracking and reporting.

Job Description

The EHS Intern position will be tasked with supporting projects involving regulatory compliance, safety assessments, and maintaining a safe and compliant workplace. This position offers hands-on experience providing EHS support to manufacturing operations.

Essential Functions

• Provide support for the EHS team to ensure a safe working environment in compliance with government regulations and company policies.
• Review and update EHS policies, procedures, and forms.
• Help develop safety procedures, checklists, forms, and training materials.
• Assist with plant safety programs, root cause investigations, hazard identification, and safety audits
• Assist with environmental waste tracking and reporting.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field at an accredited university
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Junior or Senior level
