Job summary

MSD in the United States offers a Global Safety & Environment Intern position within the Future Talent Program. The internship lasts up to 12 weeks and provides exposure to EHS compliance and technical support for local site partners.

You will reorganize the EHS SharePoint, create EHS Moments, assist with Industrial Hygiene documentation, and help revamp environmental waste guidelines with the site EHS Team.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field.
• Completed at least 2 years of college coursework.
• Able to work full time for 4 or 6 months.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to implement directions and propose process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Reorganize the site EHS SharePoint.
• Create 12–24 EHS Moments for use during the year and potentially Region-wide.
• Collaborate with the site EHS Team to organize Industrial Hygiene documentation and update Emergency Response Red Books.
• Revamp Keep-it-Green environmental waste guidelines with the EHS Team.
