Job summary

Timken in Keene, NH is seeking an EHS Intern to assist the EHS department with safety and environmental project work at the Keene plant. The role involves supporting audits, PPE assessments, and contributing to process improvements while gaining hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program in Safety or Environmental Studies, possess strong communication skills, are highly organized, and comfortable handling confidential

• Strong communication skills (verbal & written) and customer service oriented.
• Highly organized and process-oriented.
• Strong PC skills (MS Office & use of HRIS applications).
• Analytical.
• Ability to operate with high amount of confidentiality & professionalism.
• US Citizenship or Green Card holder.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for EHS within the Keene plant, including safety audits and PPE assessments.

Purpose and Scope

The primary role of theEHS Intern will be to assist the EHS department in project work pertaining to both Safety and Environmental within the Keene plant.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for EHS with in the plant. This includes but is not limited to:
• Safety audits and PPEassesments
• Process improvements
• Ergonomic assessments

Technical/Functional Skills
