Job summary

The Timken Company is seeking an EHS Intern in Keene, NH to assist the EHS department with safety and environmental project work at the Keene plant. This is a full-time, first-shift role within Timken Aerospace.

Responsibilities include safety audits, process improvements, ergonomic assessments, and waste data analysis. You should be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Safety or environmental studies and possess strong communication skills and organizational abilities.

Purpose and Scope

The primary role of the EHS Intern will be to assist the EHS department in project work pertaining to both Safety and Environmental within the Keene plant.

Responsibilities

Provide support for EHS with in the plant. This includes but is not limited to:

• Safety audits and PPE assesments
• Process improvements
• Ergonomic assessments
• Waste data analysis

Technical/Functional Skills

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor degree program for Safety or environmental studies.
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written) and customer service oriented
• Highly organized and process-oriented
• Strong PC skills (MS Office & use of HRIS applications).
• Analytical
• Ability to operate with high amount of confidentiality & professionalism
• Project management experience
• US Citizenship or Green Card holder
