Job summary

Timken's Keene, NH plant is seeking an Engineering Intern to assist the Engineering department on projects in Manufacturing and Process Engineering. This temporary role runs through September 2027.

You will observe processes, support continuous improvement projects, and help implement engineering solutions to systemic problems. Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Engineering or a related science, with strong communication, organization, and analytical skills; US citizenship or

Purpose and Scope

The primary role of theEngineering Intern will be to assist the Engineering department in project work pertaining to both Manufacturing and Process Engineering within the Keene plant. This position is a temporary position ending in September 2027.

Responsibilities

Provide support for Engineering within the plant. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Observing/evaluating processes when required to establish accurate
  • Assist with continuous improvement projects
  • Implement engineering solutions to systemic problems
Technical/Functional Skills
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor degree program for Engineering or a related science
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written) and customer service oriented
  • Highly organized and process-oriented
  • Analytical
  • US Citizenship or Green Card holder
