Job summary

Environmental Air Systems in High Point, NC seeks an EHS Inspector to promote a safe working environment, implement safety programs, conduct regular site inspections, train workers on safety procedures, and ensure OSHA compliance.

You will collaborate with managers, supervisors, and workers to mitigate risks and maintain a culture of safety, integrating safety into daily operations and processes. Requires strong OSHA knowledge and communication skills to train at all levels.

Qualifications

• Experience performing safety inspections or field supervision in Construction/Manufacturing/Energy/Government contexts.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations for manufacturing and construction.
• Excellent communication and ability to train workers at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce site-specific safety programs to ensure OSHA compliance.
• Conduct daily inspections of workspaces, machinery, and equipment for safe conditions.
• Observe field crews to ensure proper use of PPE and safety protocols.
• Audit high-risk tasks requiring permits, including Working at Heights and LOTO.
• Foster a proactive safety culture through workforce engagement and integration into daily ops.
