Job summary

Geronimo Power's Field Services Intern will support the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) team across a growing fleet of utility-scale renewable energy projects. The role provides hands-on experience with safety systems, environmental compliance, contractor management, reporting, and continuous improvement.

You’ll work with Operations, Engineering, Asset Management, Procurement, and other teams, helping with data collection, audits, and documentation while contributing to safe and efficient

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree or certificate in a related field.
• Interest in renewable energy, field operations, safety, or continuous improvement.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accurate records.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist with organizing and maintaining records in Operations and EHS systems.
• Support data collection from operating sites and review information for completeness.
• Assist with recurring Operations, maintenance, contractor, EHS, environmental, and sustainability reporting.
• Help maintain spreadsheets, scorecards, dashboards, and Power BI reports.
• Support maintenance, inspections, training requirements, and fleet initiative tracking.
• Assist with contractor qualification and onboarding documentation, including ISNetworld requirements.
• Prepare for audits, regulatory reviews, and compliance assessments.
• Contribute to procedures, workflows, training materials, and process documentation.
• Participate in team meetings, site visits, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Complete a defined internship project and present findings to leadership.
