Job summary

In-N-Out Burgers, Inc. is seeking an EHS Facilities Specialist to join our Environmental, Health & Safety team based in the Chino, CA warehouse.

This role develops, implements, and enhances safety programs across our non-restaurant facilities, including office, warehouse, and production environments. Reporting to the EHS Manager, you will partner with site leaders to identify safety gaps, support regulatory compliance, conduct JHAs/JSAs, develop SOPs, and deliver safety training.

Qualifications

• Five plus (5+) years of experience in Safety and/or Risk Management.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification required.
• Forklift and pallet jack certifications required.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal OSHA requirements and workplace safety regulations.
• Demonstrated experience building and improving safety programs, conducting JHAs/JSAs, developing written SOPs, and delivering safety and compliance training.
• Experience with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to advise and influence leaders on safety programs and practices.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Ability to travel 20-50% and work independently across a variety of field environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state health and safety regulations and maintain required records and documentation.
• Support responses to state and federal OSHA matters, including on-site visits, complaints, and citations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor safety programs for Company facilities, including standards, guidelines, procedures, and supporting documentation.
• Support emergency operations planning and serve as a facilities coordinator for non-restaurant properties.
• Conduct on-site risk evaluations, including ergonomic assessments, safety evaluations, and observations of safety compliance.
• Analyze safety trends and provide data and insights to leadership to support injury prevention and effective application of safety programs.
• Analyze incident and loss data and partner with management to identify root causes and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop targeted action plans for locations experiencing higher accident frequency.
• Conduct safety education, injury-prevention training, and workshops for Associates and leaders.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related field

CSP certification
