Job summary

In-N-Out Burger seeks an EHS Facilities Specialist based in Chino, CA to join our Environmental, Health & Safety team. You will develop, implement, and enhance safety programs across our non-restaurant facilities, including office, warehouse, and production environments, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Reporting to the EHS Manager, you will lead JHAs/JSAs, SOPs, training, and risk assessments, translating safety requirements into practical programs while partnering with facility leaders to

Qualifications

• Five plus (5+) years of experience in Safety and/or Risk Management.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification required.
• Forklift and pallet jack certifications required.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements and safety regulations.
• Experience building safety programs, JHAs/JSAs, SOPs, and training.
• Travel 20-50% and work independently across locations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal and state health and safety regulations and maintain records.
• Support responses to OSHA matters, including on-site visits, complaints, and citations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor safety programs for Company facilities.
• Support emergency operations planning and act as facilities coordinator for non-restaurant properties.
• Conduct on-site risk evaluations, ergonomic assessments, and safety observations.
• Analyze safety trends and provide data to leadership for injury prevention.
• Analyze incident data with management to identify root causes and improvements.
• Develop action plans for locations with higher accident frequency.
• Conduct safety education, injury-prevention training, and workshops.
