Job summary

In-N-Out Burger is seeking a full-time FSQA Beef Technical Services Manager based in Chino, CA, with potential alternate sites in Lancaster, TX or Lathrop, CA. You will lead beef-focused FSQA across three facilities, overseeing regulatory compliance, lab operations, sanitation, and R&D in food safety.

The role requires 5+ years in meat operations, HACCP certification, and knowledge of USDA-FSIS. A master’s degree is highly desirable; strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in meat operations or beef-focused facility.
• HACCP certification is required.
• Knowledge of USDA-FSIS and regulatory affairs is required.
• Beef regulatory affairs knowledge and beef food safety principles.
• Master's degree or higher in related field is highly desirable; extensive beef experience may substitute for some education.

Responsibilities

• Monitor food safety and regulatory compliance of beef manufacturing.
• Oversee FSQA programs and vendor feedback on incoming raw materials.
• R&D of new packaging, products, equipment, or software related to food safety.
• Visit suppliers' facilities to inspect processes and quality standards and report findings.
• Maintain current knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices; ensure compliance.
• Provide communication to FSQA Department Head and Director of Meat Operations on items affecting meat operations.
• Analyze process controls for continuous improvement opportunities.
• Perform other job-related duties as required.
