ORAFOL Americas Inc is seeking a full-time EHS Coordinator/Facilities Maintenance professional in Wallingford, CT. The role focuses on managing environmental, health, and safety programs while ensuring that facilities operate safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing setting, with strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and building systems management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in environmental, health, and safety management in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Experience in facilities maintenance and management of building systems and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor EHS programs and policies for regulatory compliance.
• Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and corrective actions.
• Coordinate and conduct safety training for employees to promote safety adherence.
• Investigate incidents to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
• Manage waste disposal, recycling, and sustainability initiatives to minimize environmental impact.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of facilities including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
