Job summary

Summit Machine is seeking an EHS Specialist to lead site-wide safety and occupational health programs in a California Ontario facility. You will report to the site General Manager and work with the CFW Group Sr EHS Manager to eliminate hazards, drive risk management, and foster a zero-incident safety culture across manufacturing operations.

The role requires 1–3+ years in safety or EHS, strong OSHA knowledge, and familiarity with ITAR/EAR standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a safety/health field.
• 1–3+ years of safety, industrial hygiene, or EHS experience.
• ITAR/EAR knowledge is a plus.
• OSHA regulations, hazard communication, LOTO, machine guarding, PPE familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain site safety and health policies.
• Lead risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Champion behavioral safety and cross-functional change.
• Collaborate with plant leadership to integrate safety into production.
• Lead the site Safety Committee and manage compliance reporting.
