Job summary

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of EPA/OSHA/NFPA standards and regulations.
• Ability to gather and analyze data to drive performance improvements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Ability to lead, train, and influence stakeholders across the organization.
• Comfort with conducting investigations and interpreting EHS regulations.

Responsibilities

• Implement and promote EHS excellence programs to boost awareness and accountability.
• Develop strategies for injury prevention, risk management, and compliance.
• Ensure regulatory compliance including monitoring, recordkeeping, and reporting.
• Create and deliver strategic EHS training for stakeholders.
• Develop EHS and sustainability metrics and track performance trends.
• Provide technical EHS support for incidents, ergonomics, and regulatory interpretation.
• Communicate EHS plans and outcomes to educate employees and leaders.
• Coach teams to participate in environmental, safety, and education programs.
• Assess facilities and processes to identify gaps and corrective actions.
• Coordinate waste management activities with licensed vendors per regulations.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain EHS plans and drill/ preparedness activities.
• Participate in and lead EHS committees.
