Job summary

Primetals Technologies USA is seeking an EHS Engineer/Specialist for New London, OH to maintain ISO and EPA certifications and ensure day‑to‑day compliance with the EHS program. This role reports to the VP of Quality and EHS and aligns with the General Manager in New London.

The position requires leading safety and environmental initiatives, conducting audits, training staff, and managing worker compensation as directed. A strong regulatory background and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 2+ years in an EHS role.
• Ability to read and interpret regulations; write reports and procedures.
• Reasoning to define problems and establish facts.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety and environmental policies compliant with OSHA and EPA.
• Provide safety training programs for supervisors and staff.
• Lead cross-functional audits for EHS compliance at workstations.
• Maintain environmental programs and waste disposal per regulations.
• Participate in an EHS team and drive corrective actions.
• Investigate injuries and prepare supporting documentation.
