Costa Farms is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Engineer to promote ongoing safety, health, and environmental compliance. You will provide expert guidance, support operations, and help reduce liabilities through risk-based strategies.

The role emphasizes regulatory adherence, safety training, and cross-functional collaboration to drive improvements in safety performance and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in environmental, health, safety, or EHS engineering roles preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental, health, and safety inspections to identify hazards, compliance gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Identify hazards requiring formal risk assessments and ensure timely evaluation of processes.
• Perform risk assessments and determine appropriate PPE.
• Conduct audits and inspections to ensure OSHA and company standards compliance.
• Develop, implement, and maintain training programs based on risk assessments.
