Job summary
Costa Farms, headquartered in Miami, FL, is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Engineer to advance workplace safety and environmental compliance across operations. The role provides expert guidance to management and staff, aligning safety initiatives with production and maintenance teams.
The ideal candidate will lead risk assessments, develop training, and ensure regulatory adherence, contributing to strategic planning and continuous safety improvements across facilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or related field is required.
- 3+ years of progressive EHS engineering experience and knowledge of OSHA regulations preferred.
- Experience with risk assessments, engineering controls, and safety system implementation.
Responsibilities
- Promote continuous improvement in workplace safety, health, and environmental compliance.
- Conduct inspections to identify hazards and compliance gaps; evaluate risk and PPE needs.
- Develop and maintain training programs, including renewal schedules and safety topics.
