DENSO in North Carolina seeks a Safety, Health and Environmental Specialist to implement and monitor safety and environmental standards across the North American region.

You will analyze performance data, prepare reports, coordinate with internal teams and agencies, and travel up to 50% to sites. The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience, with CSP/CIH certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience in safety, health or environmental fields.
• Certification (CSP, CIH, ASP, CFPS, CHMM) desired but not required.
• Knowledge of safety, health and environmental policies, procedures and laws.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Ability to travel 25–50%.

Responsabilités

• Assess Safety & Environmental Performance data and tracking of plant metrics.
• Analyze Workers’ Compensation related data for ergonomic trends.
• Implement safety, health and environmental standards to ensure compliance.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance to laws and DENSO standards.
• Develop written reports detailing site compliance in North America.
• Serve as liaison for internal departments and outside agencies.
• Partner on special projects as directed by leadership.
• Travel 25% - 50%.
