Job summary

Performix is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist to provide on-the-floor EHS support at our manufacturing facility in California. The role focuses on leading safety initiatives, conducting audits, and driving compliance with OSHA, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards.

The successful candidate will have an engineering degree with safety certification and demonstrated experience in risk assessment, incident investigations, and on-site safety coaching for operators,

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with safety certification.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
• Experience with risk assessment and hazard identification methodologies.
• Experience with incident investigations and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-the-floor EHS support at the manufacturing facility.
• Conduct routine floor audits and safety observations.
• Support employee engagement and safety initiatives.
• Assist with incident investigations and corrective action follow-up.
• Maintain EHS documentation and assist with compliance-related activities.
• Provide guidance and coaching on EHS matters to operators, supervisors, and managers.
• Assist with hazard identification and risk reduction activities.
• Support safety training and communication efforts.
