Ingenium Talent is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Engineer to lead safety, health and environmental initiatives in a high-volume Tier 1 automotive manufacturing facility in Louisville, KY. You will ensure regulatory compliance, reduce risk, foster a strong safety culture, and partner with plant leadership to drive operational excellence.

Candidates must have 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing, with automotive sector exposure and knowledge of OSHA/EPA

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing.
Automotive manufacturing experience, Tier 1 preferred.
Strong knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations.
Ability to lead incident investigations and corrective actions.

Responsabilités

Ensure OSHA, EPA, DOT and other regulations are met.
Lead internal compliance audits and regulatory inspections.
Maintain permits, environmental reporting, hazardous waste documentation and records.
Conduct safety assessments, job hazard analyses and risk evaluations.
Implement programs for machine guarding, chemical safety, ergonomics, fall protection and industrial hygiene.
Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses to reduce injuries.
