Job summary

Amca is seeking an EHS Engineer to build and implement the EHS program across all sites. The role is based at Protoshop, Amca's R&D and production factory, with five days onsite in El Segundo, CA and up to 20% travel to other sites.

Responsibilities include site evaluations, safety plans, training, OSHA/Cal/OSHA compliance, incident investigations, and environmental permit management. A 3+ year manufacturing EHS background and regulatory knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of Cal/OSHA or federal OSHA regulations.
• Experience writing safety programs, conducting hazard assessments, and leading incident investigations.
• Experience developing and delivering safety training.

Responsibilities

• Implement EHS across all Amca sites and drive gap closure to a common standard.
• Own OSHA and Cal/OSHA compliance, IIPP, written safety programs, inspections, and recordkeeping.
• Conduct hazard assessments for existing operations and new equipment or processes, define controls and PPE.
• Lead incident investigations and drive corrective actions.
• Build and deliver safety training (new-hire, hazmat, PPE, lockout/tagout, electrical safety) and track completion.
