Job summary

Apex Technology, Inc. in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Engineer to support manufacturing operations.

You will drive compliance with Cal/OSHA, DTSC, CUPA and other authorities, administer environmental and safety programs, and partner with Operations, Production and Facilities to reduce risk. The role requires a Bachelor's in a safety-related field, 2–5 years in EHS within manufacturing or aerospace, strong communication, and the ability to influence across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a safety or related field is required.
• 2–5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or similar environments.
• Knowledge of Cal/OSHA, DTSC, CUPA, South Coast AQMD, and related authorities for industrial facilities in LA.
• Experience with incident investigations, safety training, inspections, and audits.
• Ability to influence across functions and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support environmental compliance processes for permits, waste, and monitoring.
• Assist in safety investigations and root cause analyses of incidents.
• Review PHAs and audits to identify hazards and mitigation actions.
• Support safety culture initiatives and PPE readiness across departments.
• Coordinate training such as first aid, spill response, and emergency drills.
