Job summary

Sirius Staffing is seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager for a direct-hire opportunity with a leading aerospace manufacturing organization in Sylmar, California.

The EHS Manager will spend significant time in the manufacturing environment, partnering with employees, supervisors, site leadership, and senior management to strengthen safety performance, maintain environmental compliance, and help drive a proactive EHS culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lead, influence, and build credibility across all levels of an organization.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and environmental compliance requirements.
• Experience with incident investigations, risk assessments, corrective actions, and safety program development.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on EHS leadership across a large industrial manufacturing operation.
• Lead safety programs including risk assessments, job safety analyses, machine safety, LOTO, incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Support environmental compliance activities involving air quality, permitting, emissions, hazardous materials, hazardous waste, stormwater, and applicable EPA requirements.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, state, local, and site-specific EHS requirements.
• Develop and deliver EHS training and provide coaching to employees and leaders throughout the organization.
